Inaugural Newsletter
Dear Future Famiglia Fresca Di Vino Member,
Welcome to the best liquor store newsletter you never knew you needed!
We do a lot of things at Fresh Boston, to the point where it can be a bit…confusing. So, we’re here to help you focus on the Retail side of our business. Since this is our inaugural Newsletter allow ourselves to introduce…. ourselves.
Our goal for our Wine Club is simple…take the tuxedo and gowns off wine. Strip off the snobby stigma that has intimated consumers for far too long. To be a translator to help you better understand wines, so you know if you’re holding the bottle upside down or not, etc…But also, to be a protector. That’s right, as we know, not all heroes wear capes…some wear Fresh Boston t-shirts and hoodies.
We want to shield you away from corporate artificial wines that will absolutely crush you in the AM and make you want to scream at the neighbor’s dog. Now this is not to say that all the wines we will be offering were made during a full moon by a left-handed, red-headed virgin with only 15 cases produced for the entire world. Hell no, that is not our angle.
We strive to live in the cozy middle world of wine retail. To balance some well-known brands with the obscure. To provide comfort zones and new adventures. To be both Danny DeVito & Arnold Schwarzenegger.
So sit back, relax and dust off your corkscrew!

Top 6 Wine List
TOP 6 WINES TO BRING TO THE PERSON YOUR SLEEPING WITH PARENTS’ HOUSE
Gramona, “La Cuvee” Cava Brut | Catalonia, Spain
Female owned winery, check (wink at Mom in law). Tastes wayyyyy more expensive than it is, check (high five Dad). Firm yet respectful pat on your significant others’ rump, check (pour yourself a glass). Walk in the house as the sparkling wine boss you were born to be with this hidden gem. $26
Abbazia di Novacella, Kerner | Alto Adige, Italy
The King of the Crispy Whites. How many times have you asked yourself “I wish I could bring a delicious white wine to a dinner that was made by Augstinan Monks from an Abbey that was founded in the 12th century?” Welp, ask no further and brace yourself for an assault of compliments. $26
La Chablisienne, Chablis | Burgundy, France
It doesn’t matter if Mom knew that all Chablis are made from Chardonnay or not…because, thanks to you, she totally does now! High acidity brings freshness and slight oak treatment allows for a wonderfully long mineral finish. *Play it safe and bring a bttl of Raeburn Chard ($22) too just in case a buttery, toasty style is more mom’s thing. $34
Routestock, Pinot Noir | Sonoma Coast, Italy
Classic Cali Pinot Noir right here. This wine made the list in case Dad is a thinker…a philosopher even. Pinot Noir drinkers notoriously write poems, feel feelings and get pissed at their child’s significant other if they don’t bring them a great value PN option. $28
Rocca di Frassinello, “Le Sughere” | Tuscany, Italy
If somehow the fancy label / name combo isn’t enough to make your in-laws think “I was wrong about him…” this juice will get them there. Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot create an ideal silky smooth Super Tuscan. $32
Justin, Cabernet Sauvignon | Paso Robles, California
This one is simple all around. Dad’s gonna be happy with this. And if Dad’s happy, Mom will be happy…and if they’re both happy, they’re significantly less likely to ask you uncomfortable questions at the dinner table. So drink up, you did good. You did real good. $36
